Living in a very hectic world with so many different signals coming at us in different directions – it can be really hard to quiet that inner voice that’s constantly talking over all of the sounds around us. Meditation is one of the solutions to help really calm your inner self and widen that space between perception and reaction so that when things happen, you don’t react to them so fast. For me, meditation has been the most important tool that I have found to manage stress. Starting with something as little as 3 minutes a day and graduating up to 20 minutes a day can make a huge difference in how you feel when you wake up every morning.
