OneTouch Reveal

Jun 26, 2019

Description

The OneTouch Verio Flex meter is one of the most utilized ways to check your blood sugar. Until now that’s as far as it went. However, now the OneTouch Reveal app can add your blood sugar levels to info about your food, insulin, and activity, giving you a complete overview of your health while living with diabetes. Did we mention it’s the #1 downloaded diabetes app in the U.S.? The combo of the Verio Flex meter and Reveal app will send you notifications when your blood sugar patterns get too far off track.

Overview

OneTouch Reveal is a fantastic way to get more from your OneTouch Verio Flex meter. OneTouch Reveal’s main display lists your goals and activity and finds recurring patterns in your readings. The app has a timeline of points in your day or week that compares your insulin, carbs, and activity. The averages and comparator give charts to compare your glucose and A1C levels. Lastly, all the digital dilution is balanced out by the ability of OneTouch Reveal to share your data with your family, friends, and care network.

“Use the timeline as a multi-measurable way to keep the multiple influences that affect your A1C levels in an easily readable screen.”

Main Display

The first screen to greet you when you open the OneTouch Reveal is the main display. Here you can find your blood sugar levels and various goals. These goals are nutritional and fitness-oriented, even including a step-counting feature, as well as other activity you choose to log. The main display also compares your numbers to previous days to uncover recurring patterns and get ahead of them.

Timeline

The timeline maps out specific points in your blood sugar over the course of your day or week. Not only does it show progress of your blood sugar in a graphical sense, it also shows your insulin levels and carb intake. From a fitness standpoint, you can even track your minutes of physical activity every day.

Averages and Comparator

Without averages, you’d be lost in terms of how well your health progress is going with diabetes. What better way to display the averages than simplicity in the form of a pie chart? You can see how much of your readings and averages are in range, high, and low over a 14-day period. This is the first appeal of the ‘averages and comparator’ feature of the OneTouch Reveal. The other is the comparator, used to measure your A1C in a simple, bright display, so you have all the information with none of the fuss.

Share

The digital age has been upon us for quite some time and is abundant throughout the OneTouch Reveal platform. However, how useful would it be if we couldn’t accept a personal touch in our digital assets? By personal touch, we mean a ‘share’ feature. This allows you to share your health, nutritional, and fitness info with your trusted family, friends, and care team. Having digital assistance is great, but it’s the personal aspects and how you get to share them that can make your days managing your diabetes much better.
